THE CANADIAN PRESS

The Bruins pounded Toronto 6-2 on Oct. 20 and Saturday was no different as Boston kept the Maple Leafs to the outside all night.

Brophy on Leafs: Crabb’s of steel

Try as he might, Matt Frattin just couldn’t find a way to buy a goal in his first 11 games with the Toronto Maple Leafs this season.

With the exception, of course, of his shootout winner Oct. 19 against the Winnipeg Jets. Shootout goals do not count toward a player’s goal total, so technically Frattin is still looking for his first NHL goal.

Joey Crabb, on the other hand, is scoring at a Crosby-like pace. Crabb, who was summoned from the Toronto Marlies when Frattin was

THE CANADIAN PRESS

OTTAWA -- Montreal goaltender Carey Price knew he needed a big game against a tenacious opponent.

Price made 33 saves, including 15 in the third period, as the Canadiens held off the Ottawa Senators 2-1 on Friday.

The Senators have had a knack for rallying in the third period to win in the early season. After Zack Smith scored a short-handed goal a minute into the third to cut Montreal's lead to one, the Habs needed a monster effort from Price to avoid

How your iPod can make your wine taste better

When you go wine tasting--which is compulsory if you live in the San Francisco Bay Area--sometimes the very same wines don't taste the same at home.

Perhaps the winery has slipped you an old bottle containing new wine. Perhaps you're just a little more sober at home. But it could be all down to the music that happens to be playing.

It might sound odd. However, professor Adrian North of Herriot-Watt University in Scotland had
