Kristen Schaal's distinct voice lands meaty 'Bob's Burgers' role

PASADENA, Calif. — “Bob’s Burgers” star Kristen Schaal doesn’t take a compliment easily.
A graduate of Northwestern University, Schaal is quick to rebuff she’s one smart cookie. “I think not!” she says with a charming and high-pitched lisp, very child-like and innocent.
Her major? “It was performance studies,” she says, “so I’m not that smart.”
