In commemoration of what would have been Marvin "Popcorn" Sutton's 65th birthday, Popcorn Sutton's Tennessee White Whiskey arrives in East Tennessee this week, according to a statement from a Nashville publicity firm, Webster & Associates.
The recipe by the legendary mountain moonshiner, who died in 2009, was acquired by Hank Williams Jr. and his partners. The whiskey was produced in small batches and first sold in Middle Tennessee.
