They were the words all of New Zealand wanted to hear today - Breakers star Kirk Penney pronouncing himself "good to go" for Friday night's Australian NBL grand final decider at the NSEC.
Penney, the Breakers leading scorer and best player, suffered back spasms early at Wednesday's training session and was immediately whisked away for treatment amid fears he could miss Friday's finale against the Cairns Taipans.
